New Case File – Joshua Weinwurm (GA)

by Case Auditor | Jun 24, 2026 | New Case Announcement

Joshua Weinwurm was arrested and detained in a Cherokee County probation-revocation matter after a sweat patch was reported positive for methamphetamine. He had a lawful prescription for Adderall, an amphetamine medication, disputed the reported methamphetamine finding, and requested additional source-clarifying forensic testing and records.

The later record raises unresolved questions. A prosecutor/probation email acknowledged the amphetamine prescription. D/L isomer testing was available. A later vendor exchange reportedly involved two different barcodes, with one described as positive only for amphetamine. An amended D/L isomer report was later produced, but the filed complaint says the complete chain connecting that report to the original patch was not produced.

The records-access history raises separate concerns. An April 16, 2025 request was submitted at 2:11 a.m., documents were released at 9:08 a.m., and the request was closed at 9:14 a.m. Later-produced emails appear inconsistent with earlier no-correspondence representations. A later request moved from an expected costvbelow $25 to a $2,609.75 estimate, then to $187.25. The County later closed the request for lack of a payment agreement even though written acceptance allegedly appeared in the file.

This report advocates a straightforward response: preserve and release the complete forensic chain, laboratory audit trail, native emails, search records, and portal history. The report does not ask readers to presume tampering; it asks authorized reviewers to investigate the evidence.
